Qigong Classes
A beginning level qigong class is an excellent way to start your study of the internal arts whether you are primarily focused on health and well being or wish to go further to a full curriculum study of Taijiquan. Currently I am offering three qigong classes. See Current Schedule for specific times and other details.
Dynamic Qigong I
In this class we’ll explore the following:
* What is Qigong
* The Purposes and Uses of Qigong
* The Core Principles of Qigong
* Zhan Zhuang Qigong and variations
* The Eight Pieces of Brocade qigong set
Dynamic Qigong II
In this class we’ll carry on with the following:
* Review of Core Principles
* Balancing the Heart Qigong
Dynamic Qigong III
In this more advanced class we’ll cover the following:
* Owning your Practice
* Breath Placement Qigong
* Spontaneous Qigong
Special Note: Although the above training provides an excellent foundation for the study of Taiji, there are also qigong practices specific to Taiji that are covered in the Taiji Core Principles Class.
